Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
Broadpost (“we”, “us”) lets you connect social media accounts and post or schedule content to them. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@broadpost.app.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and your plan.
- Connected social accounts. When you connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky, X or another platform, we receive the access tokens that platform issues plus basic profile information such as your account ID, username, display name and avatar. We never see or store your passwords.
- Content you post. Captions, images, videos, schedules and per-platform settings (such as privacy level) that you create in Broadpost.
- Post results. The ID, status and any error message the platform returns for each post.
- Billing. If you subscribe, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive your plan and subscription status, never your full card number.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type and request logs, kept for security and debugging.
- Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, your email address.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Broadpost: to publish and schedule posts to the accounts you choose, show you whether each post went through, keep your connection to each platform working, bill you, prevent abuse, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
Platform data
We access each platform only through its official API and only for the actions you request. Data received from a platform is used solely to provide Broadpost’s posting features to you.
- TikTok. We use TikTok’s Login Kit and Content Posting API to read your basic profile and creator information and to publish content you submit. Your use is also subject to TikTok’s Terms of Service.
- Meta (Instagram, Threads, Facebook). We use Meta’s official APIs to publish content to accounts and Pages you connect. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- YouTube. Broadpost uses YouTube API Services to upload videos you choose. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Broadpost’s access at any time from your Google security settings. Broadpost’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- LinkedIn, Bluesky, X and Pinterest. We use each platform’s official API to publish content you submit, under that platform’s own terms.
Who we share it with
- The platforms you post to, which receive the content and settings you choose to publish.
- Service providers that run Broadpost for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage) and our payment provider. They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
Storage and security
Data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and all traffic uses HTTPS. Media you upload is deleted after it has been posted and confirmed live on every selected platform.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is open. You can disconnect any social account at any time, which deletes its tokens immediately. To delete your Broadpost account and all associated data, email hello@broadpost.app from your account’s address; we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as billing records. Content already published to a platform stays there until you remove it on that platform.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Broadpost is not for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age required by the platforms you connect.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
